Hydroville

Hydroville is the first certified passenger shuttle that uses hydrogen to power a diesel engine.

HYDROVILLE 16

The shuttle is mainly used as a platform to test hydrogen-technology for commercial seagoing vessels.

The Hydroville started its service as a shuttle between Kruibeke and Antwerp to transport people during rush hours to avoid traffic jams. Today, the vessel is used as a testing and exhibition vessel, and is also used for meetings and dinners on board.

During the summer holidays, the vessel can be used to organize trips to the offshore wind turbine parks on the Belgian coast from Oostende/Zeebrugge.
