For a new series of production projects, we are currently looking for an Aftermarket Engineer to join our innovative team! You are fascinated by everything on wheels and rapidly evolving technologies. You like a tough challenge and like to look for solutions to technical and complex problems. You will work closely with the Production Engineer and the Procurement Manager and report to the H2 Program Manager.

Job title: Aftermarket Engineer

Work type: Full Time - Permanent

Location: Antwerp, Belgium

What are we looking for?

  • You organize all after-sales related matters.
  • You draw up Service Level Agreements, Warranty Contracts and Service Contracts with OEMs, suppliers and service providers.
  • You analyze field problems, if necessary on-site.
  • You are a direct point of contact with the customer. You are customer-oriented and can translate customer complaints to the Engineering department.
  • You do (internal and external) quality control on parts.
  • You will build up practical knowledge of hydrogen injection systems on all kinds of different vehicles.
  • You help with research and repair when an installation shows defects, but do not do the repair yourself.
  • You report on the field issues and associated costs. You propose improvements to the general design and communicate this to our Engineering department.
  • You give training to the end customer.
  • You report to the H2 Program Manager.


What do you bring?

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electro-mechanics or electricity, with at least 5 years of experience.
  • You communicate clearly and are easily approachable.
  • You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English.
  • Knowledge of French and German is a plus.
  • You are meticulous and eager to learn.
  • You have a hands-on mentality.
  • You are analytical, can work autonomously, project-based and structured.
  • You have a knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of ERP is a plus.
  • You like to take initiative and are a real entrepreneur.
  • You are willing to (short) trips abroad.
