Shipping is part of CMB.TECH’s DNA. CMB's parent company has a rich 128 year maritime history. CMB.TECH is building on that long track record to build the clean ships of the future.

CMB.TECH believes that green hydrogen (for small ships) and green ammonia (for large ships) can play an important role to decarbonize the shipping industry. CMB.TECH’s Marine division builds, owns, operates and designs a wide range of low and zero-carbon ships : dry bulk vessels, container carriers, chemical tankers, tugboats, crew transfer vessels for the offshore wind industry, ferries, barges, etc.

The integration of the drivetrain, the storage and the bunkering of hydrogen and ammonia, is implemented with a diverse and experienced in-house engineering team in partnership with OEMs and shipyards. Battery systems and shore power technology are used to complement the carbon reduction measures on board of the CMB.TECH fleet.
