Blue Fuel Solutions
Together with CNH and Jos Scholman, under the venture Blue Fuel Solutions, CMB.TECH developed the H2 dual fuel powered tractor, based on the New Holland T5.140 with autocommand transmission.
This tractor is widely used in agricultural, construction and infrastructure maintenance sectors. The conversion to H2 dual fuel provided an answer to the requests of Scholman and CNH to achieve a diesel and emission reduction up to 50% without reducing performance or autonomy, which is necessary for current requirements in government tenders.
First launched in 2020, CMB.TECH now provides the required know how for its partners to allow them to perform the conversions in the Netherlands. In the first year production in the Netherlands, more than 20 units were sold. Other applications are being addressed as well.
