What are we looking for?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Financial Controller to join our Finance team and support financial operations across a dynamic and growing business unit, reporting to our Chief Technical Officer This role is central to ensuring the financial health of our projects, products, and processes of the division H2 Infra and H2 Industry. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of finance tasks—from day-to-day invoice processing to high-level cost analysis and financial reporting. Your insights will directly support key decision-making in R&D, production, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice & Billing Management: Process incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment/collection.
Product Cost Reporting: Monitor and report the cost of products, including materials, labor, and overhead, to support pricing and margin analysis.
Project Financials: Develop and maintain business cases for new and ongoing development projects, tracking investments, payback, and ROI.
Quality Cost Reporting: Track and report costs related to non-quality, including warranty claims, production errors, and rework hours.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Support budgeting cycles and provide variance analyses against actual performance.
Financial Controls: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and controls.
Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to align financial insights with operational goals.
What do you bring?
Formal education: a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or CPA is a plus);
Around 7 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment;
Languages: proficient in English (both spoken and written). Other languages are considered a plus;
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
Proficient in Excel and financial software (e.g., ERP systems);
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments;
Self-motivated, structured, and capable of handling varied responsibilities;
